CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: DC is open to Grade 6-8 classrooms who attend school in the city of Washington, DC.
Classrooms are asked to submit proposals that answer the question:
“What can you do to improve your watershed?"
- Classrooms will compete for $6,000
- Participating schools and clubs are eligible for $10,000
- Implementation funding is available for $10,000. All classes are encouraged to implement their ideas.

Thank you to all of the students who participated in this contest.
The $1,000 first place prize was awarded to students from Washington-Latin Public Charter School for their proposal called, 'Don't Make us Cough.'
