How it works
- Answer the question: What can you do to improve your watershed?
- Compete either individually or as a team of up to 4
- Research your local watershed
- Identify an environmental concern
- Come up with a realistic solution
- Discuss your idea with parents, teachers, friends and local experts
- Submit an approximately 1,000 word proposal (plus graphics, models, pictures or videos)
- Entries are judged on innovation, environmental impact, comprehensive scope, research, realistic solution, written presentation and visuals
- Entries must be delivered by mail or submitted online no later than the contest deadline
- Finalists will be selected to make a five minute verbal presentation to a panel of judges
- Win cash rewards for yourself and your school
- Consider implementing your idea (funding is available)
