Washington, DC
CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: DC is open to students who attend school in the city of Washington, DC.
Classrooms are asked to submit proposals that answer the question:
“What can you do to improve your watershed?"
- Classrooms will compete for $6,000 in rewards
- Participating schools are eligible for $10,000 in rewards
All classes are expected to implement their ideas and some funding is available to assist with this process.

The finalists were announced at the George Washington University's Jack Morton Auditorium.

Thank you to all the students who participated in this contest!
After careful consideration, the $1,000 first prize was awarded to Langdon Education Campus for their proposal called "WET!"
